The Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), has a mandate to support the research and development efforts of the Caribbean Region. As part of the mechanism to deliver the output of these programmes, CARDI collects and organizes a selection of documents on key topics of interest from the Caribbean and wider afield. The CARDI bibliographic database is a record of a significant part of that collection and currently lists over 10,000 records on a variety of agricultural related topics. This series of Select Bibliographies, we have another opportunity to share this bibliographic information.

The themes selected for the series were influenced by consultation with members of the research networks in PROCICARIBE and their request for information on technical materials available in their respective subject areas.

The Select Bibliographies, lists a number of articles on various commodity and thematic aspects of agriculture and may be used as a resource in locating information on relevant topics.

We trust that you will find these bibliographies useful.

The financial support of the ACP EU (CTA) towards the publication of these bibliographies is gratefully acknowledged.
